Great Experience
It's been several years since I held Suns tickets... actually about 20. The last time I had season tickets, Charles Barkley was wearing number 34 and Thunder Dan was sinking 3 pointers from the time stripe. I miss the excitement of those days and the thrill of nearly winning it all, knowing all the players, knowing the coaching staff, knowing the leadership under Jerry Colangelo; Cotton Fitzsimmons helping Al McCoy with the broadcasts.... Those were just extra special times.
Friday night I parked myself in a seat that was nearly home-away-from-home a few years ago. The nostalgia set in. I was pleased. I saw players out there with fire and determination. I saw a coach who still holds a special place in my heart; a coach sweating it out for our team. And we won the game. It was a great experience and I sincerely hope these men can light a fire in the hearts of fans in Arizona one more time and do what nearly happened here 20 years ago.
Go get 'em, men!
